Washington State records first job gains since November 08' |

January showed the first signs of life in Washington State's economy. Approximately 12,000 jobs were added. The industries that saw the greatest increases included retail with an increase in 3,000 jobs, education and health services increased by 2,800 jobs, and construction, up by 2,700 jobs.
However over 350,000 people are still looking for work in Washington State and 305,500 received 1.2 billion in unemployment benefits in 2009.

AT&T's Seattle coverage dominates any other carrier - by a long shot |

According to a new PCWorld report, Seattle is the #1 poster-child for AT&T coverage. Incredibly, they rate the reliability as 100%! Average upload speeds are above average and download speeds are a bolt of lightning compared to any of the other 20 major US cities that were tested. That's a big U-turn from last Spring when AT&T ranked last among the four major carriers in the PCWorld survey.
Take a look for yourself, AT&T's download and upload speeds in Seattle are well over 75% faster than Verizon's.< ...
